The Hoher Markt in Vienna Austria is home to the city's famous clock,
the Ankerur. Every few minutes, various characters rotate past the coat of
arms. The characters include Marcus Aurelius and Maria Theresa.
The only Jewish temple to survive Hitler's Kristallnacht (Night of Broken
Glass) is also located at Hoher Markt. The temple is called the Stadttempel (City
temple).
