The Vienna International Airport (Flughafen Wien-Schwechat) is Austria's
largest airport. It is located 18 kilometers (11 miles) southeast of
Vienna near the Austrian town of Schwechat.
Transportation from Vienna airport to downtown Vienna is convenient and
inexpensive.
Bus,
metropolitan train (S-bahn) and metro service (U-bahn) is available. A trip on
the S-bahn costs only 3 Euros and the trip to downtown Vienna takes only 24 minutes. Trains leave the airport
every 30 minutes.
